About Me

"I am an exoplanetary scientist specializing in the atmospheric dynamics of Mars, with a focus on the transport, condensation, and photochemical loss of water vapor. My research investigates how dust storms, radiative forcing, and vertical circulation shape the Martian water cycle and its long-term evolution. By combining general circulation modeling with orbital and in-situ observations, I analyze how storm-driven transport injects water into photochemically active layers, contributing to hydrogen escape. Beyond Mars, my work extends to comparative planetary climatology — examining parallels between Martian and terrestrial atmospheric processes. By contrasting water vapor transport and storm-induced loss mechanisms on both planets, my studies reveal how storms and shifting climate regimes can drive irreversible water depletion, offering insights into the long-term stability of Earth’s own hydrosphere under climate change. .
